Think Hire Named Equipment Specialist of the Year

6 Sep, 2024

Think Hire are delighted to announce that we were named Equipment Specialist of the Year at the prestigious 2024 Construction News Specialist Awards.

The awards, now in their 20th year, recognise the very best in the specialist support sector for the UK construction industry. This year’s awards, held at the Royal Lancaster in London on September 5th, attracted over 300 entries from across the sector, demonstrating inspiring innovations and excellence across the industry.

A vital support for the sector

The Editor of Construction News, Colin Marrs explains the importance of the specialist support sector and the reasons behind the awards:

“Without our skilled specialists, there would be no building industry. The tradespeople on sites up and down the country are the engine of our sector, turning dreams into reality. The CN Specialist Awards is a time to celebrate the dedication, craftsmanship, and expertise that these individuals bring to the world.”

Think Hire innovation impresses the judges

In naming Think Hire as Equipment Specialist of the Year, the judges praised the company’s innovation and commitment to sustainability.

“The judges were impressed by Think Hire’s commitment to developing off grid power solutions and innovative products that are changing the industry,” the citation said. “The high levels of customer satisfaction achieved by the company and their commitment to future development stood out. The panel felt this was a step change in renewable solutions across the construction industry.”

A huge achievement

Think Energy Group Director and Think Hire founder and Managing Director, Neil Richardson, was thrilled with the award and everything it means for both the company and the people behind it.

“This prestigious award marks a significant achievement for Think Hire and underscores our dedication to driving sustainable innovation,” he said. “I am incredibly proud that Think Hire has received this award and would like to say a heartfelt thank you to our team, our customers and our partners, as well as to the Construction News Specialist Awards panel for their support and recognition.”
