One of our newest additions is the self-contained Solar Security Hut. Fully portable and set up in just ten minutes, this handy hut comes complete with solar powered heating and lighting for zero emissions, zero fuel costs and zero noise.

Emission-free facilities

When it comes to providing toilet and washing facilities, Think Hire offers a choice of mains powered or solar toilet blocks. Our Stand Alone Toilet Blocks are designed to be as energy efficient as possible, with PIR lighting, low energy heating and full insulation. These can be connected to the mains, or they can be powered using energy from portable solar power stations, such as the Solartainer.

For a completely solar powered option, Think Hire offers the Solar Loo 2, with interior and exterior lighting, heating and hot water all powered by the solar panels on the roof. This unit also includes a 2.3kVA back-up generator.

Drying and charging

When it comes to taking care of your team, Think Hire can help you to power many other key facilities on site. Using solar power not only improves your profile as a green energy company, but also delivers significant savings on your running costs compared to using diesel generators.

Recent additions to the range include the Eco Drying Cabinet and Self Contained Solar Drying Room, both an essential on any site, with rain never far away whatever the time of year. The Eco Drying Cabinet is highly efficient, utilising a state of the art humidity tracking system to minimise energy use, while the Eco Solar Drying Room is fully self-contained. Both work incredibly fast, and can dry clothes from wet in as little as an hour.

Smokers and vapers can take their breaks in a Solar Site Shelter, with both lighting and mobile phone / vape charging powered by clean energy. Phones and other tools can also be charged in our innovative Solar Charging Station, which has 10kW of battery storage built-in to allow 24 hour use.

And it doesn’t end there. With the addition of the exciting new Solar Skyframe, almost any part of your site facilities can be switched to solar power. This ground-breaking unit can be securely mounted onto any cabin and will provide 3-5kW of clean renewable energy exactly where you need it. It has a fully adjustable solar panel, which can be tilted to harvest maximum energy throughout the day, with any excess energy stored in your solar/hybrid system for later use.
