Driving change: the first of our new hybrid vans has arrived

We’re welcoming the first of our new plug-in hybrid vans to the Think Hire fleet as part of our ongoing commitment to decarbonisation.

Chris Dickinson, our Chief Operating Officer, handed over the keys to Dan Ogden, Transport & Logistics Manager, kicking off the next stage in our mission to create a cleaner, more sustainable transport future.

By the end of 2025, over 50% of our commercial fleet will be powered sustainably by low-emission PHEV or fully electric vehicles.

And we’re not stopping there, we’ve made a group-wide commitment to transition our entire fleet to 100% electric by 2035.

Chris Dickinson, Think Energy Group Chief Operating Officer commented on the new arrival, “As the UK’s leading supplier of relocatable renewable energy solutions cutting carbon emissions by up to 99% on our customers projects, we’re firm believers in practicing what we preach – that’s why after partnering with (***tag - Ford, Global Vans, Michellin connected fleet, Durasto, Manchester Signage***) we’re delighted to welcome the first of nine new plug-in hybrid LCVs due over the next few months as we look to transition to sustainably fuelled transport - reducing our fleet carbon emissions by over 70%. These LCVs join our existing 100% electric HGV fleet with a commitment for the Group’s total fleet to be fully electric by 2035.”
